CAEP Annual Reporting Measures

IUP Office of Educator Preparation

Indiana University of Pennsyvania's (IUP) educator preparation programs report annually the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Perparation's (CAEP) eight reporting measures. These measures are used to provide information to the general public on our program outcomes and candidates' and program completers' impact on P-12 learning.

Below are the eight CAEP measures and links to supporting evidence for each measure.

Measures of Program Impact

Measure 1: Impact that completers have on P-12 learning and development (component 4.1)

A summary of 2017-2018 Case Studies and the actual case studies are provided.

Measure 2: Indicators of teaching effectiveness (component 4.2)

A summary of completers' effective application of knowledge, skills, and dispositions, completer observation data, and candidates' Teacher Work Sample and Student Teaching Part I data are provided.

A summary of employer surveys and teacher demographic information from case studies are provided.

Candidate exit surveys, completer surveys for all completers, and completer surveys for case studies are provided.

Measure 5: Graduation rates for preparation programs (Initial and Advanced levels)

Measure 6: Ability of completers to meet licensing (certification) and any additional state requirements; Title II (initial and advanced levels)

Measure 7: Abilty of completers to be hired in education positions for which they have prepared (initial and advanced levels)
