15th Annual Assessment Conference Presentation Opportunity

CTP-Speaker-OpportunityPlease consider this CFP opportunity at the LiveText 15th Annual Assessment & Collaboration Conference. The conference will be held July 11-13, 2016 at the Renaissance Hotel in Downtown Chicago.

At LiveText, we believe an effective culture of assessment is built on a cooperative approach that focuses on student-centered learning. By sharing your high-quality assessment practices, you will help improve student learning. The deadline to submit your proposal is February 26, 2016. Review the guidelines and submit here.

Proposal topics should fall into one of the following tracks:
  • Planning for Assessment: Defining learning outcomes specific to a discipline and evaluating the quality of assessment plans
  • Best-practice examples of instructional/assessment practice to measure core competencies and learning objectives
  • Strategies for using the results of program-based assessment of outcomes
  • High Impact Practices to Develop Academic Identity & Self Image: The Power of the e-Portfolio
  • Change Management/Strategies for Creating a Culture of Innovation

Our Annual Conference provides a broad national framework and setting for approximately 300 higher education attendees — including presidents, provosts, accreditation and assessment directors, faculty, and policy leaders — to gain a deeper understanding of current research,  trends, and innovative approaches in assessment.

We invite well-developed proposals illustrating examples of ongoing assessment and the use of assessment results in meaningful ways to improve higher education. Preference will be given in the selection process to those proposals that include the use of assessment technologies that support various modes of instructional delivery (traditional, online, hybrid, badges and MOOCs, etc.), while fulfilling the various roles of assessment in teaching, learning, and continuous quality improvement.

Hope to see you in Chicago!
